This is the story of a millionaire nursing home operator who arranged the roadside slaying of his virtuous wife in broad daylight. Helmuth Buxbaum was a Canadian success story, having come to Canada from Germany with very little. He was apparently a devoted family man and pillar of his church.

But he developed a liking for drugs and prostitutes in London, Ontario. His wife and mother his six children, Hanna, learned about his other life in area bars and motels and tried to keep Helmuth’s other “friends” at bay. Helmuth complained to his associates on the street and offered money if they could deal with her. Hanna Buxbaum paid with her life.
